However, the leadership's reliance on Western cultural norms risks misunderstandings due to differing East Asian cultural expectations, hindering effective collaboration and customer engagement.
Currently, these cultural differences are leading to communication breakdowns and a perceived lack of understanding, directly impacting client satisfaction and deal closures. By implementing comprehensive training, Sequence expects to see a measurable increase in client satisfaction, reflected in a 10-20% improvement in NPS, and a significant reduction in churn rates.
Solution: This e-learning course will be the first structured cultural competency training experience. Therefore it will focus on understanding possible incorrect assumptions that can be made when an individual is not aware of and sensitive to the different cultural norms in East Asia. There will also be a focus on how to respond respectfully in culturally sensitive ways, therefore improving collaboration and engagement and increasing client satisfaction.
